미국 공급관리자협회(The Institute of Supply Management, ISM)가 발간하는 제조업 구매관리자 지수(PMI) 리포트는 매달 400개 이상의 기업 구매/공급 관련 중역을 대상으로 실시하는 설문조사 결과를 토대로 산출합니다. 전체 측정 지표(신규수주, 수주잔량, 신규 수출수주, 수입, 생산, 공급자 납기, 재고, 고객재고, 고용 및 물가)를 대상으로, 이 조사는 응답자로부터의 긍정적 전망 및 부정적 전망의 차이치 및 경기변동지수를 발표합니다. 응답결과는 원자료로 분류되어 수정하지 않습니다. 경기변동지수는 긍정적 전망을 내놓은 응답자 퍼센트율에 변동없음을 예상한 응답자율 (역시 긍정적인 전망으로 분류됨)의 50%를 더해 얻어집니다. 그 결과 나온 수치는 계절조정 단계를 거치는데, 이..
